Chatsworth is a neighborhood situated in the Northwestern region of the San Fernando Valley in California. This desert landscape was once characterized in old Hollywood westerns but fast forward to now: suburban studios, unmarked warehouses, and an endless sea of sprawling mansions. The area is notoriously known as the adult entertainment capital of the world. Large production companies have since diminished, but smaller motion pictures exist behind the closed doors of indistinguishable houses. This creative project takes the name of the aformentioned neighborhood and is inspired by it’s energy. Garment design, styling and photography at the intersections of history, art, sex, and street culture.
